Colaba Conversation is Mumbai’s signature forum for discussing international policy issues affecting the city, the nation, and the world is hosted by The Observer Research Foundation and the Government of Maharashtra.
Spalba had the honor of hosting the Colaba Conversation this year. Hosted on 2nd and 3rd February just before the second wave, it was the inaugural year for the annual Conversation by The Observer Research Foundation and the Government of Maharashtra.
With the inaugural address by Shri Uddhav Thackeray, Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra, India, the conference was attended by over 70 policymakers, business leaders, experts and community leaders from over 20 countries to discuss global co- operation, in today’s critical world.
The inaugural edition of Colaba Conversation brought together a global network of leaders from government, industry, media, the youth and civil society to deconstruct, debate, and shape the politics, perceptions and policies which will be vital to the emergence of a new global order. In keeping with ORF’s ‘gender-first’ policy, the panels had 34 women experts versus 31 male speakers from across the world.
Set out of Nariman Point – The event was hosted at The Trident Hotel, with all speakers joining remotely. Conversations were led in various formats, from one-on-one, panel discussions, to keynote addresses.
It was attended by over 1000 people through live-streams and social media where Real time green screen mixing and edits along with live remote presenters full duplex / 2 way interaction.
